For everyone local, Discount Grocery currently has ground turkey on sale for .59/lb!! Yesterday when I went they had a ton of it in the refrigerated and frozen sections. It is expiring, so they are trying to move it and they have A TON! I bought some a few weeks ago for .89/lb from there and it is good! It is Butterball brand, lean 93/7 ground turkey!
I usually have my guard up when I go in there because some stuff that they sell as expired I just don't feel comfortable with, but for us, this was a HUGE blessing and I can honestly say I've tried it before and there was nothing wrong with it.
Needless to say, I filled our deep chest freezer up! :-)
