I went back and changed the CVS post to include this info!
The stores that require you to purchase 2 of the items to get the special BOGO price (which is essentially 50% off) are the drug stores:
CVS
Walgreens
Rite Aid
However, the grocery stores (locally!) allow you to only purchase 1 item and get it for 50% off:
Kroger
Publix
I am not definite on Walgreens and Rite Aid, but I know that at CVS you can use a BOGO MQ with a BOGO sale and get both for free! I have gotten Kodak Photo Books, Cover Girl lipstick, and Sobe drinks in the past using this method :-)
